Ania Korszun BDS (Hons), PhD, MD, FRCPsych is Professor of Psychiatry and Education at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London and Honorary Consultant Psychiatrist at Barts Health NHS Trust and East London Foundation Trust. Professor Korszun trained in Dentistry and Medicine at the University of London and completed her residency training in psychiatry in the USA. Before joining Barts and The London, she was at the University of Texas and University of Michigan, and in Wales at Cardiff University. Her research focuses on mood disorders and particularly on the interface of depression and stress with other medical conditions including identification of predictors of psychological wellbeing in head and neck cancer and facial trauma patients.
